Compost will make lawns, flowers, vegetables, shrubs and trees flourish even in poor soil conditions. It adds vital nutrients and organic matter that plants require for balanced growth. Yearly application is recommended. Compost should be worked into soil in the spring and used as mulch in the Fall. Compost is intended as a soil supplement and not as a soil replacement.
